Hey Freebird. Saw you asking for feedback from Justin Randall, and also want feedback here, so I thought I´d give it a go.

Check out a book called "Drawing on the right side of the brain" by Betty Edwards.
IMO it´s the best, most kickass book on drawing you can find - and you will see amazing results in no time.
Unlike many books that merely teaches drawing techniques, this teaches you how to SEE things the right way, and hence draw them well. I have used it to better my drawing skills, and it´s really, really good.
